Artist TWOGIL
TWOGIL (pronounced two-gill) is an artist with a ministry. This was in fact the reason that the name TWOGIL was chosen as her art name. She desired to have a name that properly conveyed the message that she daily strives to embody. TWOGIL stands for The Word Of God Is Life. This name represents what the artwork of TWOGIL points to and the message behind the art. She has been drawing and producing art since the time she could hold a pencil, and her love has always been in recreating the human form, especially the human face. She is captivated by the life shown in ones eyes and continuously amazed by the movements of the human form. For many years TWOGIL has known that her calling and ministry was to have its’ culmination in art.
In September of 2006, TWOGIL realized that her REAL passion in life was Art. Since that time, she has been moving forward towards her goal of producing her artwork full-time. This has been a dream of hers since she was a young girl, and is daily becoming a reality through a process known as The Journey.
TWOGIL can usually be found with a sketchbook or pen and paper of some kind close by. She seeks to visually depict the Word of God in a way that will lift the viewer and invoke life into their being. Her mission is to point us all back to the true source of life…The Word of God.
