“Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.”

~ Albert Einstein

Maryland native and currently South Korea based visual artist, TWOGIL (pronounced “two-gill”) is moving forward to make art become a direct means of helping those in need. She is proficient in multiple art mediums and is currently researching the techniques of Oriental Art. Her portraits invite the viewer to see deep into the mind and heart of the subject.

Initially, TWOGIL’s portraits were based solely on presenting the emotions of people. However, after an encounter with a Korean homeless woman, a strong desire to directly help those in need began to develop within her. This is how the idea for the movement was born. One Portrait One Meal.

TWOGIL’s goal is to continue producing artwork that brings joy to its viewers and meals to those in need.
